TeamExpand Announces Release of TX Chrono 1.5.6 /03/20/2014/

TX Chrono 1.5.6 release features new functionality: TFS 2013 support and UI improvements.


Sunnyvale, CA - TeamExpand, a developer of products complimentary to Microsoft Visual Studio Team System (VSTS), today announced the1.5.6.76564 version of its TX Chrono, a timesheet tracking application targeted at software development organizations that standardize on the Visual Studio .NET environment.


Major changes and improvements:


  1. TFS 2013 support

  2. Web-based License Service was updated to support newest application features

  3. UI to track and manage Application Synchronization

  4. UI to manage License Service was implemented

  5. UI to manage logging functionality was implemented

  6. Possibility to login as different user was implemented

  7. Deeper x64 platform integration

  8. Overall technology shift (.Net Framework version 4.5, supported environments, developing tools, etc.)


Apart from that the new release features a number of bug fixes:


  • Bug #112418 "Holidays are not regarded during week totals calculation" was fixed

  • Bug #116600 "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'HasReportsByKey' of undefined" was fixed

  • Bug #118457 "Uncaught ReferenceError: InitTimeSheet is not defined (on Settings page)" was fixed.

  • Bug #119548 "Expiration Date is being corrupted after switching license to Active-Pending state (flushes to one month)" was fixed

  • Bug #107469 "Error occurs during TXChrono installation on attempt to create SQL user which is the same as currently logged on the server user" was fixed

  • Bug #120352 "The CREATE DATABASE statement failed" - was fixed

  • Bug #119653 "Sometimes synchronization during installation fails with timeout" was fixed
